Phil Staunton

A first class degree in Industrial Design and Technology from Loughborough University has cemented Phil's passion for combining functional engineering design with stylish aethetics. Phil worked for Parker Diving as a Design Engineer before starting at Innovate in 2006. Since joining, Phil has progressed to heading up the design department and is now responsible for the quality of work produced by the design team, from sketch concepts to working prototypes. In his spare time Phil enjoys mountain walking and is a qualified RYA advanced sailing instructor.

Vijay Jethwa

Vijay joined the company in late 2006 shortly after graduating from University West of England, with a BSc Honours degree in Creative Product Design. His sharp attention to detail and strong 3D visualisation skills make him an integral part to the Innovate team. In his current position Vijay manages project scheduling and delegating each individual brief to the appropriate designer based upon their unique skill set and experience. In his spare time he enjoys training at the gym and occasionally the odd game of chess.

James Seddon

James lives for design. He studied at Loughborough University gaining a Second Upper in Industrial Design and Technology. Having undertaken the BA route, James' passion lies in creating sexy and sophisticated products with an emphasis on ergonomic and aesthetic qualities. Having said that James does not shy away from the nitty gritty aspects of design and has successfully completed a number of challenging prototypes earning his place in the prototyping elite. When not in the office, James has keen interests in photography and mountain biking.

Tom Davidson

Tom graduated from Bournemouth University with a First Class Honours degree in BSc Product Design. His experience has given him a well rounded approach to design, with a good understanding of the balance between function, aesthetics and cost. Tom previously worked for AAC Cyroma where he produced various products to aid in the manufacture and assembly of automotive vehicles, primarily for Ford Motor Company. In his spare time Tom enjoys playing Tennis and taking part in various watersports.

Daniel Sohi

Having graduated from Middlesex University with a first class honours degree in BA Product Design, Daniel worked as the sole product designer for 18 months for The Dezac Group Ltd. This experience has given Daniel sound knowledge in designing products for manufacture, specifically using the injection moulding process. He has also worked closely with suppliers and toolmakers in the Far East, which has further enhanced his strong communication skills. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys working out, keeping up to date with the latest cutting edge technology, as well socialising and meeting new people.

John Edwards

John’s holistic approach to design was enhanced during his studies at Bournemouth University where he studied for a BSc in Product Design. This balance between engineering and conceptual design helped John win the “most commercial potential” award for his final year product; ‘MuGGins’. John can either be found fixing his car or examining a product in detail. He enjoys all water sports, a lively musical pub and good food.

Daniel O'Connell

Daniel graduated from Loughborough University with a First Class Honours degree in Industrial Design and Technology. Having chosen the BSc route, he has experience of mechanical and electronic design which complements an appreciation of product styling and semantics. He started his career working for the Bristan Group where he designed bathroom products. In his spare time he enjoys photography and playing badminton.
