Verde Vita: How One Woman Launched a Stylish Women’s Golf Clothing Brand
Georgina Wilkinson, founder of Verde Vita, is on a mission to transform the world of women’s golf clothing. After rekindling her love for the game, she was frustrated by the lack of stylish, affordable golf wear, and the absence of a female golf community. That frustration became fuel for a bold new vision: a modern women’s golf clothing brand that combines fashion, function, and inclusivity.
The Spark
Georgie’s passion for golf started early, playing with her dad on Saturday mornings. But when she returned to the sport years later, something hadn’t changed, women’s golf apparel. Most budget-friendly options were outdated, while trendier pieces were overpriced for amateur players. Like many, she made do with tennis skorts or gym wear that didn’t suit the course.
She also felt a lack of connection. Golf was fun with her partner and male friends, but she wanted to network with other women in golf—a community where women could share their passion and feel supported. That dual need, affordable, flattering women’s golf clothing and a welcoming female golf community, inspired her to start Verde Vita.
The Journey with Innovate
To bring her women-led golf wear start-up to life, Georgie turned to Innovate Design. Protecting her brand was essential from day one, so she worked with Innovate to secure intellectual property rights for the Verde Vita name, logo, and branding.
With Innovate’s IP expertise, Georgie gained the confidence to launch publicly, knowing her brand identity and digital assets were legally protected. The support didn’t stop there, Innovate helped lay a strong foundation for turning her idea into a brand that resonates with women across the golf world.
The Big Win
Georgie officially launched Verde Vita with a debut collection designed to help women feel confident, comfortable, and stylish on the course. Items like The Vita Skort, Top, Jacket, and Sock were thoughtfully crafted with buttery-soft fabrics, fresh colours, and flattering cuts that move with the body, not against it.
Early testers, especially curvier golfers, praised the pieces for their comfort and confidence-boosting fit. One reviewer described the fabric as “buttery soft” and the colour as “fresh and flattering,” calling the designs “the kind of outfit you don’t want to take off.”
The brand’s focus on inclusivity is clear, with sizing designed to fit a range of body types, and more extended sizing and pieces (like sweatshirts and outerwear) on the way. What started as Georgie’s personal frustration is now a growing brand celebrated for empowering women in golf—through both fashion and community.
What’s Next?
Verde Vita is building serious momentum. The team is now in conversations with a number of golf clubs across the UK about stocking the brand, bringing stylish, inclusive women’s golf wear directly to the heart of the game. In April they’re set to appear at Golf Clubber in London, by the 02, during the buzz of Masters weekend, a key opportunity to grow visibility and connect with the wider golfing community.
With a quick and smooth manufacturing turnaround and continued customer excitement, Verde Vita is primed for growth. As more women discover the brand’s flattering fits and community-driven mission, the future of women’s golf wear looks brighter than ever.
Testimonial
"I started with just a confidential idea review, and now I have a product I’m proud of. Innovate were a brilliant starting point. They paved the way for a really positive relationship with my manufacturer, making it easy for me to step in and take things forward. Both the designer and innovation coach completely understood the task at hand, and Donna, my designer, was amazing, so experienced with materials and full of insight. I’d highly recommend working with Innovate."
