The Project The KFit Trainer is a home fitness space saving device with 7 unique functions and over 500 exercises. James came up with the idea to help people who do not have enough money for a gym membership and lack of space at home for gym equipment. "I wanted to create a product that could solve their problems and make a difference to their lives." says James.
The Process James approached Innovate product Design who initially carried out a Worldwide Patent Search that helped to establish how original, and therefore how patentable the concept was and in what ways. Innovate evolved the design to successfully meet the client brief, worked through the different stages of design for manufacture, resolving aesthetic, mechanical and technical issues. Innovate also helped James with his patent application. After finishing the process with Innovate, James created a promo video, brochure and began to pitch to retailers/ teleshopping channels.
The Result KFIT was Launched in UK and in Germany this year and will be in the US and Asia in 2018. Today the product is licensed to Tristar Products who sorted the manufacturing from start to finish.  KFIT TRAINER. is retailed in Argos and Robert Dyas. James's goal is to develop the fitness classes and sell the product into the gym. He also would like to work with the NHS in battling obesity. One of the highlights of the process was to get celeb trainer Jessie Pavelka to present James' show and be the ambassador the KFIT TRAINER. "Yes, Im pleased that Ive got the product out there, just need to improve our marketing for brand awareness." says James
