On the 29th June, our colleagues in the San Francisco office organised a great event entitled “From Concept to Product to Market”, a free workshop held at the TechLAB Innovation Center. Several people attended the event and benefitted from listening to advice and winning tips from the speakers, who included: Curtis Landi – President & CEO of Supracor Inc, Soody Tronson – Founder & Partner at STLGIP, Larry Udell – Founder of California Invention Center, and Jessica Vann – Client Manager at Innovate.
Topics covered included the necessary steps of getting an idea from your head and into a viable product presentation which you can then present to companies and investors, preparing for licensing, the different forms of protection and the different routes of taking your idea to market.
Everyone enjoyed the workshop and came away brimming with ideas about how they could progress their new product idea. We can’t wait to see them!
